Portishead - Threads (Rotoscope Animation)
2010
Illustration, Animation
A short rotoscope animation created on the themes of anxiousness, compulsive thinking and paranoia.
This is my first stab at animation, I wanted to create a rotoscope because it was important to me that the film I created was in-keeping with my illustration style.
It was created during my final year at University as a response to personal experience and the song ‘Threads’ by Portishead. The film touches on the themes of anxiousness, compulsive thinking and paranoia.
Huge thanks go to Dom Ainley and The Film & T.V. Liscencing Division at Universal Music.
Enjoy!
